I am using the tube 4-2 by Christine Kotlark.

Open up a tube of choice & a new image 700x700.

Choose your rectangle preset shape tool.

Set your Foreground color on your Materials Palette

to white or black. For now, Hide the Background color palette .

For the preset shape tool,set width to 7.00.

Draw out a vertical rectangle. Go to Objects - Align -

Center in Canvas. Convert to Raster.

Add a drop shadow of choice to the rectangle.

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer.

Resize if needed. I resized mine about 88%.

Duplicate the tube once. Move the original tube 

below the rectangle layer & hide the duplicate for now.

Apply the plugin Mura's Meister: Copies - Wallpaper rotate

to the original tube.

Select your magic wand tool. Click inside the rectangel to select it.

Go to Selections - Modify -Expand by 2.

Selections invert & select the wallpapered tube layer.

Press delete on your keyboard.

Select none.

Duplicate the Original wallpaper tube layer.

On the copy, go to Adjust - Blur - Gauassian Blur 15.00.

Apply the following plugins:

 I-Decay with the ColourOffset option - default settings.

VM Experimental TeeWee -default settings

Greg's Factory Output Vol.ll -Waffle -default settings.

Change the blend mode on this layer to Screen - or one of choice.

Unhide your tube copy layer. I resized mine an additional 94% but that

varies on the tube you are using. 

Position tube as wanted on the tag. I positioned mine along the 

right side of the frame.

Add a drop shadow to the tube.

Add wording of choice to your tag along the bottom of the rectangle. 

I did add a gradient glow to my wording using 

Eye Candy 4000: Gradient Glow - Fat 3.00

Add a drop shadow to the wording.

Add two raster layers below the tag layers.

Fill with two different colors from your tag.

Apply 1 mask per color. 

Make sure you Merge Group after applying each mask.

Crop your tag to desired size.

Add copyright information & name to tag.

Save as png.

I am using a tube by Robin McQuay.

The artist does not sell tubes anymore but you

can find her artwork here.

The tube I used is an exclusive to Creative Misfits Forum.

Plugins & Programs:

Paint Shop Pro X2

VM Stylize - Square Blur

VM Distortion - Distortion by Hue

Eye Candy 4000 Glass

Open up a 700x700 new image. Select a tube to use

of choice. Resize the tube if needed. I resized mine 85%.

Copy & paste the tube as a new layer onto your image.

Select your rectangle preset shape tool. Width 5.00.

On your Materials palette, select a color from your 

tube for the fill color & hide the stroke color for now.

Draw out a rectangle close in size to your tube - vertical or 

horizontal depending on the tube you are using. Convert to raster.

Position so the rectangle comes up behind part of the tube.

Merge the tube & shape layer together & duplicate once.

On your layers palette, select the duplicate copy layer we just made.

Apply the plugin VM Stylize - Square Blur with the default settings.

Now apply the plugin VM Distortion - Distortion by Hue using the settings

Strength 33

Direction 219

Chaos 127

Intensity 77

Next, we're going to apply Eye Candy 4000 Glass. Go to settings

& select the option Clear Glass. We are going to use the default settings for it. Now we are going to add another slight bevel to it. Go to Effects -3D Effects Inner Bevel & select the option 2 & leave settings as is. You can change color if you wish. I used white on mine.

Move the copy layer below the original tube/shape layer. 

On the original layer, lower the opacity to 71 and set the blend

mode to soft light. 

Copy and paste your tube once again. If needed, position so

it lines up with the rest of the layers. On this layer, set the blend 

mode to soft light & leave opacity at 100.

Select your font tool. Choose a font of choice for your tag &

a color for the text. Type out a word or two to fit your tag. For mine,

I used the words Always Blue. Convert to raster. I chose to rotate

the words right 90. You can do this by going to Adjust - Free Rotate.

Just make sure the rotate all layers is not checked. Once rotated, move to

position you want the text in on your tag.

I also applied the earlier Inner Bevel to the text layer & a drop shadow

of choice.

Merge layers together & resize as needed. Crop to desired size.

Add artist copyright information & name to the tag. Save as png.

Programs/Plugins

Paint Shop Pro X2

Mura's Meister: Copies

Xero: Illustrator

Greg's Factory Output: RGB Isolate

Open a 700x250 new image.

Open a tube closeup of choice.

Copy & paste the close up as a new layer

onto your blank image.

Resize your tube if needed. I resized

mine by 83%. Position on either side of 

your image where the tube looks best.

I positioned mine on the left side.

Duplicate the closeup twice. Hide 

the copy layers for now & select 

the original layer.

Apply the plugin Mura's Meister: Copies.

Use the setting Wall Paper(rotate) with

default settings.

Go to Adjust: Blur - Gauassian Blur 8.00.

Now apply the plugin dsb flux.

I did the Direction Right and Percentage 25.

If your tube is on the right side you may

want to switch it to Left Direction.

Unhide the first tube copy layer &

make sure it is selected on your layer palette.

Apply the plugin Xero: Illustrator with the settings: 

Abstraction: 32

Colouration: 105

Definition: 77

Change the blend mode on this layer to Hard Light.

Select your magic wand tool. Click on side 

of the layer that is opposite the current closeup

layer we are working on. Press delete. This should eliminate

the extra slightly white part of the layer.

Now unhide the top closeup layer & make sure it is

selected on your layer palette.

Apply the plugin Greg's Factory Output: RGB Isolate

with Default settings.

Select your Selection tool. Choose a shape for your 

selection. I set mine to circle. Also make sure the Mode

is set to Add ( Shift ).

I drew out three small circle shapes. After drawing the first

one out, i held the shift button to keep it selected & draw out

the second circle selection. Once selected, press delete on 

your keyboard & select none.

Add a new raster layer. Make sure it is the top layer

on your tag. Fill with a color from your tag. Select the 

layer with your magic wand tool. Selections Modify -

Contract by 4.00. Press delete on your keyboard. Select

none. Adjust - Add noise - Uniform & 12.00

Add artist copyright & name to the tag. Save your tag as a png.
