Any resemblance to another
tutorial is purely coincidental.
For this tutorial, I’m using a PTU tube by
Piombo. I also have a 2nd example featuring
the art of Andrew Sussmann. Both are
available at MTA.

Supplies:
Tube of choice.

Plugins:
Mura's Meister Copies
Xero Porcelain
EyeCandy 4000 Gradient glow

Open up a 700x700 new image.
Open up your tube of choice. You
want to use one with a pattern on
it.

On your Materials palette,
set the stroke color box to black.
X out or hide the fill box for now.

Now select your preset shape
rectangle tool. Set width to 10.00.
Make sure the square shape is selected.
Draw out a square shape to
desired shape.

Before you convert to raster,
go to objects tab, align, center
in canvas. Now you can convert to raster.

Select your magic wand tool.
Click inside the square with it.
This should give you the "marching ants"
inside the shape.
Selections, modify expand by 3.

Now click on your tube. Also select your
selection tool. On your tube, select a part
of the pattern that you want to use.
Copy this part once you have it selected.

Open a 2nd 700x700 image. Paste the
part that you just copied.
Apply the plugin Mura's Meister Copies
Wallpaper  twice.

Once the pattern fills the image,
copy and paste as a new layer
onto your main tag image.
Selections invert & press delete button.
Select none.
Move this layer underneth the
square layer.

Select your preset rectangle shape
again. This time make sure its
set to rectangle. Have both material
palettes set to black or a dominant
color in your tube.

Draw out a horizontal narrow rectangle
above the square preset layers.
You want it near the top going across
the square layers & hanging off a bit
on both sides of the square.
Convert to raster. Duplicate once & flip
so that you have two rectangles.

Merge the two rectangles together.

Now click on your tube. Also select your
selection tool. On your tube, select a part
of the pattern that you want to use. We want

a different part of the pattern than we used
before. Copy this part once you have it
selected.

Open a 600x250 new image.We don't need as
big a space as before. Paste the
part that you just copied.
Apply the plugin Mura's Meister Copies
Wallpaper  twice.

Back to your rectangles, select one with
the magic wand tool. Copy and paste as
a new layer the wallpaper image we just
did. Position as wanted. Selections invert
& press delete. Select none. Repeat with the
2nd rectangle layer as well.
Merge all the rectangle layers together.

On the rectangle layer, apply the plugin
Xero Porcelain. Default settings.

Select your font tool. Choose a font of choice
& color for your text as well. I used caps lock
on but its up to you. Type out the words
"Embrace Your Patterns" or text of choice.
Convert to raster.

Apply the plugin EyeCandy 4000
Gradient glow. Setting Fat Glow width 3.00
Add a drop shadow to the words as well.
2,2,50,5 black.

Merge layers together. Crop to desired
size. Add artist copyright information &
name. Save as png. Thanks for trying
my tutorial.
