This week, we have Thomas Hoover
& Michael Landefeld as AOTW at CDO.
I wanted to feature each one
as examples of the goodies you
can find in the store. Remember, during
their week as AOTW, the tubes are on sale.
It's a great chance to get new goodies.
Be sure to check out their IB ( Inspired by ) kits as well which can be found at the above links with the tubes.

Any resemblance to another
tutorial is purely coincidental.
I am using a tube by Elias Chatzoudis.

Plugins/Programs:
Mura's Meisters Copies
EyeCandy4000 Gradient Glow
Animation Shop
Paint Shop ProX2

Open up a 700x700 new image.
Select a tube of choice.

On the Materials palette,
hide the top color/stroke.
On the Fill color, choose
a main color from your tube.

Select a preset shape of choice.
For my tag, I am using the rectangle.
Draw out the shape to desired size.
Go to objects tab - align - center in canvas.
Convert this layer to raster.

Now, on the fill box on your Materials
palette again, choose a light grey color for it.
Back to the same shape. This time, draw out a slightly
longer shape and not nearly as wide. You just want a strip
of the shape. Convert to raster. Arrange it on the right
side of your tag but still make sure some of the original
shape is peeking through the other side of the strip.

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer between
the two shape layers.  On the  tube layer, apply the plugin
Mura's Meisters Copies: Wallpaper rotate.

Select your magic wand tool. Select the original shape layer in your
layers palette. Click on the original shape layer with it. Then
select the wallpaper layer in the layers palette. Selections
invert & press delete button. Select none.

Duplicate the wallpaper layer. On the copy layer, Go to Effects-
Art Media Effects-Brush Strokes. Default settings except I did change
the  color to the same grey I used earlier.
Move this layer below the original wallpaper layer.
Lower the opacity on the original layer to 53 or to desired amount.

Click on the strip layer in your layer palette. Copy & paste your tube again.
The tube I am using has a grey layer so I am using that one here.
Select the tube with your magic wand tool. Now on the tube,
selections - invert & press delete on the keyboard. Select none.
Merge the tube & strip layers together.

Select your font tool. Choose a font of choice to fit your tag.
I chose the color black for my text but this can vary depending
on your tag. Type out text of choice for your tag. Convert to raster.
If needed, apply EyeCandy 4000 Gradient glow to the text.
I used the color Fat & glow width 3.00 on mine. I also added
a slight drop shadow as well.

Add Copyright information & name to your tag.You can also start
merging layers together. Be sure to leave the strip layer unmerged though.
We will be animating this layer.

Animation:

Copy merged and paste into Animation Shop (AS) as a new animation.
Now back to PSP. Go to Effects - Image Effects - Page Curl.
Change the settings as I have them below. You can adjust which
corner peels if you don't wish wish to peel from the top corner as well.

Once you have the corner peeling, click okay. Then Copy Merged &
paste in AS after current frame. Return to PSP. Undo the Page curl effect
bu going to Edit Undo. You want to repeat this three more times by
adjusting each of the number values up by 10. I have the screenshots
below to illustrate the values I used. After each one is applied, copy merged
& go to AS, paste after the last frame.

Now staying in AS, Select the frames 2-5. Edit -Copy. Paste as a new animation.
Under the Animation tab, click Reverse Frames. Edit - Copy. Back to the main
tag. Paste after current frame - make sure you are on the last frame. Now, on
Frame 6, select it and right click - delete. It is only the 5th frame again & we
don't need it a second time.

If you wish to slow down the animation, You can do this under Animation
Tab - Animation Properties. I changed it to 20 on mine. If you are happy with
the animation, save your tag as a gif.

Thanks for trying my tutorial!

CT wallpaper featuring art by Sara Butcher &
a coming soon scrap Wisteria by Hungry Hill.
The scrap will be released tomorrow as part
of CDO's Scrap Friday.
Surrounded by the beautiful garden, take time
to pause a moment or two. Talk with
friends or watch the fairies play
among the plants. Both are sure to
bring a smile to your face & renew your spirit.
The wallpaper is 1920&1080
& available here.

This week, we have Cuddly Rigor Mortis
& Ash Evans as AOTW at CDO.
I wanted to feature each one
as examples of the goodies you
can find in the store. Remember, during
