witnessed in life. And to give them
another chapter with us. The same could
be said about older people as well. 
Just because a person may be old, doesn't
mean they don't have something to contribute
to society. It may not be work, but wisdom
& stories have plenty we can learn from.

Women Supporting Women

Women should help lift one another up.
Society does enough to tear us apart &
tries to dictate how we feel, appear, or are portrayed.
If we are to change the narrative, then that 
must start with us. We've all heard the saying
Help another woman adjust her crown
without letting the world know it was crooked.
Or something like that anyways.
& that is a great start to supporting one another.
But we can take it further. Let's not compete
against one another - be it in looks, appearance, etc.
We already are not on equal footing with men.
We don't need to make enemies of one another.
Be there for one another when life gets tough.
Let's end the whole "I must look better, sexier, hotter,
more beautiful than her" attitude as well. We are all beautiful in 
our own unique ways. We don't need to tear
one another down over this. And that includes
body shapes as well. Women come in a variety
of shapes, sizes & colors. Every woman has her
own struggles. Let's try not to judge one another over this.
Again, society tries to dictate that enough already.
Oh and jealousy is included in this too.
That monster just needs to disappear.

I met a photographer in 2020 who is making it her mission
to change how women view their bodies
with the help of her camera. It is amazing how
meeting fellow women who are truly supportive
for their fellow women, can help change your mindset.
I'm lucky to have some ladies who are supportive.
But I'm sure even we need to improve in areas.
After all, nobody is perfect, we are only human.
