This tutorial was written on August 31 ,2023Any resemblance to anothertutorial is purely coincidental.I am using the art of Elena Dudinawith her tube 49-1.
Plugins:Mura's Meister CopiesXero IllustratorXero PorcelainXero MistifierGraphics Plus
Mask: AORK Mask 120
Open a 700x700 new image.Open up your tube of choice.
Select your Preset shape & choose Ellipse.Make sure the circle shape is selected & not the oval.Set your width size to 7.00.
On the Materials palette, have a dark color for the Foreground & Stroke Properties.Hide the Background color for now. Draw out a circle shape to a desired size. Before converting to Raster layer, go to ObjectsAlign - Center In Canvas. Then convert to Raster.Rename the layer as Circle.
Copy & Paste your tube as a new layer underneath the circle shape. Resize 70% if needed. Rename the layer as Tube Inside.Duplicate this layer once.On the bottom one, apply the plugin Mura's Meister Copies -Wallpaper Rotate. Repeat if needed. Rename the layer as Tube WP.
Duplicate the bottom layer of the tag. Fill this layer with a color from your tag. I used one of the blues. Rename this layer as Color.
Select your magic wand tool. Click inside the Circle layer.Selections - Expand by 2.Selections - Invert.Select each layer - Tube WP, Tube Inside & Color& press your delete button on each layer. Once done,select none. This should erase the extra of each layer outside of the circle layer.
On the Tube wp layer, apply the plugin Xero Illustrator with the settingsAbstraction 59, Coloration 148 & Definition 138. Next, apply Xero Porcelain with default settings. Lastly, use Xero Mistifier with defaultsettings as well.
On the same layer, change the blend mode to Soft Light in your layers palette.Go to Adjust, Blur - Gauassian Blur 2.00 to the layer.Go to your Effects Menu - Distortion Effects - Wind.Use the settings - From Right and Strength of 50.Add drop shadows of choice to the layers of your tag.
Duplicate the Tube WP layer once. On the Copy layer, apply the pluginGraphics Plus - Peacock with default settings. Then, in your layer palette,lower the opacity of the layer to about 48 or desired number for your tag.
Choose your font tool Select a font of choice to use. I set my font size to 28but feel free to use a size you like. I chose White for my text color &unhid it in my Materials Palette color option. Type out a single word or twothat fits your tag. For mine, I used Dreaming...Convert text to raster layer & add a drop shadow of choice.
Add a new raster layer above the bottom layer of your tag.Fill with same color as the Color Layer. Go to Layers menu- Load/Save Mask. Choose the mask AoRK Mask 120. Make sureinvert is not checked. Merge group. Resize 97%.
Add artist Copyright & a name to your tag.Save as png. Thanks for trying my tutorial!

I've had a thought pondering the last couple days. These last 4 years have really torn our country apart between Covid & politics. People haveforgotten how to be good humans with one another. Certain public figureshave certainly not helped with that either. Our world has gotten crueler in manyways we can't deny this. In a way, its like after 9/11 and how many turned against people of Arabic ethnicity/faith & blamed them for the actions of other people. Now, its become a world where if people are not like you, then they are evil & horrible or wrong.
I say all of this because I see it to a degree in the PSP community.Drama has always been part of the community in one way or another. Yet,the drama that occurs now (esp with AI) seems to be so much worse. Our community is enduring bullying over weather we accept or totally deny AI. Yes our community is in midst of change with AI & the rules are still to come. This is nothing new as the same thing happened when the Copyright movement started. I was around to see the birth & growth of that. Yet even then, the meanness that we see now was not around. PSP is suppose to be an escape from reality. A community to share our creativities among friends worldwide. Yet the bullying that is happening in the real world has become a part of PSP.
We can't let this destroy our community. As a tagger myself, I already feel the joy slip away a bit. Yes absolutely we should support the artists because without them, we don't have this world. But judging and turning on friends, designers & taggers, does not need to happen. Why must we convince someone to think like us so much? Just like life, its our differences (Provided they are not harmful) and uniqueness that makes us well us. But just like certain aspects of the real world, if we dare think differently than some, then we are torched and put on blast. We are made to be wrong for thinking with our own mind. I've never seen the community so split apart in my many, many years of being a part of it. This needs to change. Period.
