As the mother of an Autistic son, I wanted to do something in honor of Autism Awareness month comingup in April. Love my boy!
This tutorial was written on March 7 ,2023Any resemblance to anothertutorial is purely coincidental.I am using the art of Queen Urielwith the tube Autism Awareness 2021.
Plugins:Mura's Meister: CopiesVM NaturalGraphics PlusNeologyXero PorcelainToadies Blast'em
Open a 700x700 new image.Open up your tube of choice.
On the Materials Palette, set your Foreground to white. Hide the backgroundcolor for now.
Go to your Rectangle shape tool.Set your width to 7.0. Draw out a horizontal rectangle to desired size.Objects - Align- Center in Canvas.Convert this layer to raster.
Take your tube of choice.Resize 70% if needed. Copy & Paste your tube underneaththe rectangle layer.Apply the plugin Mura's Meister: Copies.Use the Wallpaper rotate option with default settings.Repeat only if needed.
Select your Magic Wand tool.Make sure the Rectangle layer is selected & selectinside the shape. Selections - Modify - Expand by 2. Selections - Invert. Select the wallpaper layer & pressdelete on your keyboard. Select none.
Rename these two layers to avoid confusion later.We will name upcoming layers as needed too.This steps helps to keep track of which layer we are working with.Name them:Rect FrameWallpaper 1
Duplicate Wallpaper 1 Layer.Rename the copy as WP 2Keep this layer selected in your layers palette.
Apply the plugin VM Natural - Splash with default settings.Graphics Plus - Weaver with default settings.Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance. Lower the opacity on this layerto 47 & change the blend mode to soft light.Apply the plugin Neology-Transparent Bullseye with default settingof Rings 12.
Now select the layer Wallpaper 1.Apply the plugin Xero Porcelain with default settings.
Take your tube & resize 75%. Copy & pasteonto your tag. Position along the left side of the tag.Let's drop shadow all of our layers now with a shadow of choice.
Merge the layers Wallpaper 1 & WP2 layers together.Duplicate this layer once.On the original one, apply the plugin Toadies Blast'em.
Select the Rect Frame layer. Select a font of choice. I am using a puzzle font for my tag. Select a color of choice for your background color on your Materials palette. Type out a word. Convert to raster & add a drop shadow.Position along the inside bottom of the frame. You want it still inside your frame. I used the word Autism as it fits my theme.
Merge layers together.Crop to desired tag size.Add copyright information & a name for the tag.Save as a png.Thanks for trying my tutorial.
