You are passing through during the day.I don't want you taking up real estate of my mind.I have a thousand other things that can easilyoccupy my mind. Yet, because this involves someoneI have called dad over the years, someone other than you.The ghost of you decides to remind me of you.There is a difference though this time. It no longerhurts me nor do I miss you. It isn't hard to hurtwhen someone wasn't in my life even before they passed.Instead, I hate this situation for him and everything it entails.I'll stand by & support him and help as needed.Our kids will always have us in their corner.They know the love & support of both parents in their lives.Together, we are a team - united by love & blood & bonds.
